PLD 14th Mid-Year Conference

Come make new friends and spend time with old ones. We have 2 days of professional development and two half days of extra outings! Our Spring meetings have always been a great success, and we intend to continue our long tradition.

Arrive Thursday afternoon to check in and join your colleagues for a museum tour. A joint dinner with NCATA members will get you revved up for the official start on the conference the next day.

Friday and Saturday will be full of enlightening sessions about your favorite language and subjects, with a group sightseeing tour on Sunday.

Check out the preliminary program.

If you are not yet ATA certified, Sunday is a good opportunity to take the ATA certification exam. See more details here. The deadline for signing up is March 25.

For those not taking the certification exam, Sunday morning we will have another joint outing to the Capitol, with a tour of the botanic gardens (weather permitting) or one of the many museums on the Mall.

A full breakfast is included (now is your chance to try grits, if you've always wondered what they were like!), and you will want to lunch and dine with your colleagues.
